SAME, in conjunction with the military services, offers a series of week-long STEM engineering and construction camps designed for high school students (grades 9-11) who excel in math, science and technology courses and who are interested in Engineering, Architecture or related fields in college. Each of the four camps has unique curriculums and camp events will take place in June 2017 as follows:
June 18-24: US Marine Corps Camp, Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC
June 26-July 2: US Air Force Academy Camp, Colorado Springs, CO
June 11-17: US Army Camp, Vicksburg, MS
June 4-9: Exploring Engineering Academy, Atlanta, GA
If you know of a high school student who may be interested in participating in the camp experience, please give them the attached application and have them send their completed application to Ms. Deb Chiaraluna, SAME Pittsburgh Post STEM Committee Chair (412-651-0047), via email no later than 7 March 2017.
